Would it be worth running some additional 2-year simulations to see whether the first datapoint on the Gregory plot is just internal variability?
Last time we checked, the sensitivity was already very high at 4.6 K (20161117b.beta0.A_WCYCL1850S.4xCO2.ne30_oEC_ICG.edison), but somehow we have managed to top it.
